25-11-09. Actions in Ticino by anonymSupport for the campaign “Migros sans foie gras” from Ticino! Excited by the new anti foie gras campaign we decided to join it, shaking a bit the sleepy Ticino region. The target is really easy to attack: Migros is really vulnerable. Attacking it gives a good opportunity to inform people and get them to question their purchase and consumption. For a campaign like this to be effective, a small group like ours is not enough. Therefor we encourage you to go out and have some fun! Wednesday November 25th, the Migros shops in the cities of Chiasso, Mendrisio, Lugano-Besso, Sant’Antonino and Bellinzona recieved short but very loud and visible demos inside the supermarkets, where we demanded that Migros stops selling foie gras. With our duck sisters in mind, we can’t just sit down and not act. And we hope that you will also stand up! Even though this campaign is especially concentreted on fighting foie gras, we stand against any kind of animal exploitation and we crave total animal, human and earth liberation.
